KIKULETWA HOTSPRINGS
Kikuletwa hot springs also known as maji moto and also chemka hot springs is a
natural geothermal oasis. Chemka means boiling in swahili, referring to the
appearance of how the water emerges from the ground. The spring are located
approximately 40 kilometers from Moshi town. The hot spring water flows into
the kikuletwa river and eventually finds it way to the Pangani river.
The hot spring are situated in a lush and tranquil environment surrounded by
palm trees and other tropical vegetation. The water is clear and the
temperature is around 27 degrees of centigrade ideal for swimming and
relaxing. It can be as deep as 6 to 10 meters.
Kikuletwa Hot springs is a popular destination for tourist and local alike who
come to enjoy the natural beauty and serenity of the location. The area is also
popular spot for bird watching, as there are many species of bird that inhabit
the surrounding forest and wet lands. Red garra can be found in the water and
eat the dead skin off the feet's of visitors.

Tanzania, attracting both local and international participants. The tour takes
place in the picturesque town of Moshi, situated at the foot of Mount
Kilimanjaro. The route cover roughly about 150 km of diverse terrain, including
