Waterfall News
Bridalveil, Oregon
The new hiking trail to the top of Bridalveil Falls was opened this past weekend!
A big “thanks” goes out to the graduate students from Oregon State University
Department of Fisheries and Wildlife who helped build the new trail. Approximately 25
college students assisted with the construction. The new trail is approx. 3 miles in length
and includes six wooden foot bridges. A new public restroom facility has also been
constructed at the trailhead.
The trail dedication concluded with a special Hiker’s Day involving members from
several hiking clubs in the region. High school students from our local Bridalveil High
School were taught how to maintain the trail
.
