Sloane

Hey, watch where you're going, peasant!

Garrick
Who pissed in your soup this morning?
Sloane
Gods, I'm so sorry. I've been rather irritable since spending so much time in a
bandit cage.
Garrick
Yeah, I can imagine. Peasant, though? Gotta say, that stings a bit.
Sloane
Only true things are hurtful, Garrick. Like it or not, you're a peasant.
Garrick
I don't think it's been acceptable to call someone a peasant since maybe IY 900.
Sloane
Mmm, perhaps you should call the constable then? Better yet, show me how wrong I've
been yourself.
Garrick
You think you can get to me that easily? A gentleman would never berate a woman
like that.
Sloane
Come now, you're no gentleman.
Garrick
Alright, you've got me there.
Sloane
You really are making this too easy. Truthfully, I had expected more wit from you.
Garrick
Making what too easy? You bumped into me and yelled at me. How do you want me to
react?
Sloane
You can't possibly imagine I'm so dull as to act as I have.
Garrick
Right right, let me check my book of correct behavior really quickly to find the
section that dictates proper formatting of verbal abuse.
Sloane
Thank the gods that book doesn't exist. I think we'd both be strung up sooner
rather than later for breaking form.
Garrick
I can think of worse places to be.
Sloane
I appreciate the attempt, but I dare you to actually name a single place you would
less rather be than about to face certain death.
Garrick
Already having faced certain death? I don't know, I don't sit around thinking
morbid thoughts all day.
Sloane
No, I don't suppose you do.
