Course Syllabus
Course Description
In AP World History: Modern, students investigate

Mrs. Dunn significant events, individuals, developments, and


processes from 1200 to the present. Students develop

making historical connections; and utilizing reasoning

AP World History: Modern test, students will be expected

textual reading and note taking skills, document

for the reading and writing assignments.

Course Expectations
Every student enrolled in any AP course is expected to Grading
take the College Board AP exam in May.
AP World History Exam Date: MAY 15, 2024 (Morning)

Make Up Work/Late Work


If a student is absent or misses the day of a scheduled
major grade or daily assignment, the student will have 1
day (the first day back) to make up the assignment after MAJOR GRADES
school. If this is not possible, the student must contact (50%):
me to schedule an alternate day and time. DBQ Essays, Time Period
Tests, Map Tests, LEQ
Late Work Policy: Essays, Vocabulary Tests,
1 day late = -20 pts. 2 days late = -30 pts. & various assigned
