2. One (1) copy of applicant’s NATIONAL REGISTRATION IDENTITY CARD (NRIC)*
3. One (1) copy of applicant’s WORK PERMIT or PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD*
4. One (1) copy of applicant’s CURRENT PASSPORT / TRAVEL DOCUMENT BIO DATA
PAGE INCLUDING PAGES WITH IMMIGRATION STAMPED as proof of travel* (At least
5 times per year to any APEC economies & Passport must have minimum validity of 4 years)
5. Copy of Applicant’s OLD PASSPORT BIO DATA PAGE INCLUDING PAGES WITH
IMMIGRATION STAMPED as proof of travel*
(At least 5 times per year to any APEC economies)
6. One (1) copy of company profile generated from Accounting and Corporate
Regulatory Authority (ACRA)* (dated within the recent 3 months)
7. Company Profile (Example: Brochure, Catalogue, Annual Report, Organisation Chart)
NOTE: This checklist must be COMPLETED upon submission. Documents marked with an [*] MUST BE A CERTIFIED
TRUE COPY by Company Secretary / Commissioner of Oath / Notary Public.
I hereby acknowledge that I have read and understood the terms and conditions as provided below:
• The application for MTC ABTC Support Letter is strictly for Malaysians only.
• MTC reserves the right to request for further details from the applicant, if necessary, and has the right to reject the
application for a support letter.
• Any submission with FALSE information or documentation shall not be considered.
• MTC support letter can be collected at the MTC office in Singapore during office hours, or will be mailed to successful
applicant should an empty return envelope with the recipient’s address and postage stamp is provided along with the
application.
• Upon receiving MTC ABTC support letter, applicant must liaise directly with the Immigration Department of Malaysia in
Putrajaya for ABTC application. Applicant must submit the original MTC ABTC support letter together with all relevant
documents to the Immigration Department of Malaysia in Putrajaya. Submission can be made in-person by applicant
or company authorised representative, or post/ courier. Further information on ABTC application is available at:
https://www.imi.gov.my/index.php/en/main-services/apec-business-travel-card/.
• Submission and collection of the support letters can only be made by the applicant or company authorised
representative.
• The final approval for the ABTC application is subject to the assessment by the Immigration Department of Malaysia
in accordance with the relevant laws, regulations and policies in force.
