Lead-time insights – Computation of Historical Lead-time and variances

• The Lead-time insights are computed based on historical variances in comparison to the Processing
Lead-time(LT) maintained in the Approved Supplier List(ASL) table
• The Historical Lead-time(LT) is the calculated as the mean of all receipts for an Item-Supplier-
Supplier Site combination and is the difference between the actual Order date and the actual Ship
date less Pre-processing Lead-time(LT)
• The lead time calculation considers the Supplier Capacity Calendar which respects the non-working
days

Key considerations

• For EBS source systems, the standard integration does not include the purchase order shipment
receipts history. However, you can use the hooks in the extraction process to extract the receipts
history into ScpPurchaseOrderRcvHistoryImportTemplate.csv (Purchase Order Receipt History
Import Control File) and upload the same into SCP Cloud using Load Planning Data Files.
• The Generate Insights job process from the Configuration UI executes the new ‘Generate Data
Insights for Planning’ ESS job and may be scheduled like other ESS jobs
• Access to the lead-time insights page is controlled using the below privileges:
• MSC_MANAGE_LEAD_TIME_INSIGHTS_PRIV

• FND_MANAGE_SCHEDULED_JOB_DEFINITION_PRIV

• All users who have access to this page have full access to all the data and data security filters are not applied
