I write this letter in regards to Rafael Almaraz Garcia. I believe that Rafael would be an excellent
addition to your institution. He is a friendly, helpful, gentle, bright and attentive young man. In
class and in his work, he demonstrates that he is an intelligent and capable student with great
potential. He knows he wants to join the military and become an exemplary soldier in an infantry
unit. His short term goal is to be able to buy a car. His long term goal is to buy a house. I believe
that being trilingual,(Spanish, Zapotec and English) will help him advance further in his military
career. He has already gained some work ethic by working as a babysitter and in the field. All of
this doesn’t stop him from doing his hobbies of drawing and painting. He always puts his best
effort into all he does and I am confident he will thrive in any program he chooses to pursue.

I am convinced that Rafael will make an excellent contribution to your branch of service. He has
