Project 2 – Function Paper

Function Paper

After the review of all the functions you have learned in you mathematical career
you are now equipped to use this as a tool of personal description. In a one-page
paper decide what function best describes you. You can relate this to your
mathematical success over time, mathematical enjoyment over time, life
experiences over time, etc. This paper is intended to help introduce yourself to the
teacher. Things you might want to think (research or review) about:

 Are you a function or relation?

 Are you continuous?

 Do you have asymptotic behavior?

 Do you have any values where you are undefined?

 What is your rate of change?

 Are you bounded or do you shoot off to infinity?

 Are you periodic?

Also in your paper include a graph of you with labeled and scaled axes.
See rubric on the back of this page. This rubric will need to be turned in with your
paper.
