The city proposed developments in two major components namely, Area Based Development in a selected area called “Bhubaneswar Town Centre District (BTCD)" comprising and Gi) Pan City development of technological projects named as “Smart Solutions” project with social equity as a cross cutting strategy to deliver inclusive society for citizens of Bhubaneswar, THE AREA BASED DEVELOPMENT Area Based Development is focused upon an area of 985 acres of at the heart of the city or Bhubaneswar Town Centre District (BTCD) .The and use plan ofthe Town Cente District has earmarked 31 percent ofthe land for residential usage, 15 percent fr mixed-use and 12 percent for commercial activites, to encourage round the clock activites.
