Command SCEPEXPORTLIFTINGINFO
Description Exports various part properties defined by a BOM definition for a given list of parts
BOM Definition Type String (Optional) The name of the BOM definition type
Output Path String Full Directory Path and file name of where the output will be placed
Notes To export information for any part type there must be a collector of that type in the bom definition
Export information is determined by the fields in the BOM definition (plus the static columns noted above)
The BOM Type parameter is used to specify a BOM definition if there are multiple BOM definitions with the
input name. If multiple definitions are found and a type is not specified the operation will fail
It is possible to have a UDA with the same name as a BOM field. If this happens only one will be exported
The extension of the output file as specified by the Output Path parameter determines the tabular format of
the output generated
Example Operation
The Lifting Component Info operation is provided as an example in the default operations file.

Lifting Operations
To use the lifting operations the Lifting EnterprisePlatform Operations.xml file needs to be imported into EnterprisePlatform PublisherLT.
The file is located in the ShipConstructor install location in the ProjectTemplates directory.
Example location is:
C:\Program Files\SSI\ShipConstructor 2023\ProjectTemplates

Lifting Components
Insert a Lifting Component into an Assembly Drawing
A Lifting Component uses an equipment stock and may be placed into an Assembly drawing using the origin of the Lifting Component
standard, or one of the stock's custom insertion points (as defined in Using the Equipment Standard Drawing Editor).
To insert a Lifting Component
1. Run the SCADVLIFTINGCOMPONENTCREATE command to open the Equipment selection window. This window lists all the
available Equipment Stocks. A preview of the currently selected equipment stock is displayed in the preview box.
Note: Only Equipment Stocks with a red icon displayed can be inserted into a drawing.
2. Select the desired Lifting Component from the Equipment Selection window.
3. You are prompted to pick the first point or choose an option from the Custom Insertion Point Mode command line:
If desired you may select the Next Point option (by typing X) to cycle through which insertion point to use for Lifting Component
placement. The Lifting Component will shift so that the selected insertion point is now at the cursor. Repeat this option until the
desired insertion point is selected.
4. Click anywhere in the model to specify the first placement point for the Lifting Component.
2593
5. You are prompted to select a second point defining the direction of the Lifting Component.
Please pick the second point of the end axis :or [plaNE/XRotate/YRotate/ZRotate/SNap<on>]
2594
Please pick a point indicating a rotation about the defined end axis : or [ALign to WCS/ZRotate/SNap<on>]
Pick the point or turn on or off snapping of the picked points to fixed angles (the current setting is displayed in the command line
in <angle brackets>) by typing SN (for SNap) and pressing Enter.
8. Click anywhere in the model to specify the orientation of the Lifting Component and complete insertion.
2595
5. The Part Name, Accessory Package, and User Anchored fields can be changed in the Properties Palette.
6. Surface Area, Weight, and the Lifting Component geometry are all set on the stock in the Equipment Catalog. To update Lifting
Components that have been edited in the Equipment Catalog, run the SCADVLIFTINGCOMPONENTUPDATE command.
Lifting Vectors
Insert a Lifting Vector into an Assembly Drawing
Lifting Vectors may be placed into an Assembly drawing by specifying the base point and end point of the vector.
To insert a Lifting Vector

Specify first point[Arrow size/Magnitude/Units/Display text/tExt style/Text direction]:
3. Select the base point of the vector (the 3D point can be entered in the command line).
4. You are prompted for the end point of the vector or choose an option from the command line.
5. Select the end point of the vector (the 3D point or the length of the vector can be entered in the command line).
1. Open the Assembly drawing containing the Lifting Vector you want to edit.
2. Select the appropriate Lifting Vector.
3. Right-click on the selected Lifting Vector and choose Properties to open the AutoCAD Properties Palette.
