TALLER DE APLICACIÓN DEL INGLÉS:
1. Systems Theory: This theory, based on the idea that an organization is a system
composed of interconnected parts, emphasizes the importance of understanding how
the parts interact and affect each other. It promotes concepts such as synergy (working
together to achieve more) and self-regulation. It is used to view businesses as complex
systems.
2. Principles of Administrative Management: Developed by Henri Fayol, these
principles focus on the responsibilities of managers, which include organizing,
commanding, controlling, coordinating, planning, and forecasting. These principles
remain relevant in modern management and form the basis of many successful
businesses.
3. Bureaucratic Management: Max Weber proposed this theory, advocating for a
hierarchical structure in the organization with clear rules and roles. It seeks to avoid
favoritism and establish an efficient, merit-based organization. Although often seen as
impersonal, it can be useful for setting standards in new businesses.
4. Scientific Management: Frederick Taylor introduced this theory, which emphasizes
standardization, specialization, and optimizing productivity through the application of
scientific methods. While not widely used in its original form, its principles continue
to influence workplace efficiency.
5. Theory X and Theory Y: Douglas McGregor proposed these theories, describing two
opposite management styles. Theory X assumes that employees are apathetic and
require authoritarian control, while Theory Y assumes that employees are intrinsically
motivated and can self-manage. The choice between them depends on preferred
management style and business type
