In Mexico City on September 19, 2017 at exactly 1:14 minutes in the afternoon, an
earthquake with a magnitude of 7.1 was recorded, it was one of the largest
earthquakes for Mexico City after the earthquake of '85. Its epicenter was In
Axochiapan, Morelos, the death toll was 369.
I was at home taking care of my daughters when suddenly I felt the bed move and
then the doors, a few seconds later I felt the movement and I took my daughters in
my arms as I went down the stairs I could hear the house making noises as if it were
going to collapse. , went out into the street to find a safe place. Fortunately nothing
happened to me but as the hours progressed I contacted my relatives. My dad was
working in the neighborhood in the valley and, scared, he told me that buildings
began to fall and I could hear people trapped under the buildings.
In short, it was a natural disaster that surprised the people.
Mexican and where we had strength and solidarity with the people who lost
everything because we made donations to the affected people.
