our premise of launching weekly releases.

● Constant communication with the early adopters in order to receive their
feedback and define future features.
● Research/Standardize UI components based on our Reference Systems
(e.g. Atlassian Design System, Material Design, UX Mailchimp, etc).

Design System Lead at Eden, Mexico

Eden is a leading Mexican company in health technology that, since 2016,


specializes in advanced digital solutions for radiology and healthcare. Their
commitment to innovation, simplicity, and continuous improvement has led
them to develop industry-leading tools. This Health Tech company serves over
5 million patients in 12 Latin American countries, processing more than 1.5
million medical images daily.
Responsibilities:

- Be responsible for establishing the connection between the Product team


(design) and the implementation team (Frontend).
- Define the UI Components that Eden's products require, framed within our
Design System.
- Implement each UI Component with clean and scalable code. This includes
paying attention to accessibility and following best practices, based on the
most used Design Systems (for example, Material Design, Atlassian, Polaris,
Adobe Spectrum, etc.).
- Assist and actively participate in meetings, whether from the Product team
or the Implementation team, with the purpose of evaluating the feasibility of
new requirements.

Mi Águila is a transportation technology company focused on driving digital


transformation in the corporate sector, revolutionizing mobility for businesses
and traditional operators in Latin America.
Responsibilities:
● Help team to define best practices on all the development/design process
in order to accelerate the product creation process (as a UX Engineer).
● Design their UI kit and organize their core elements (color palette,
typography, logo, etc.). I could say that it would be its Design System, but
a small scale. All the Product Design process, research and design is here:

Lead Front-End Developer / Product Designer at La Haus, Medellin,
Colombia
April 2018 — February 2019

La Haus, Its goal is to overhaul the entire home search and purchase process,
by finding the best alternatives and providing top-quality service.
Responsibilities:
● Restructure the La Haus' core on the Front-End side, updating its
technology stack: VueJs was included as the main Front-End Framework.
● Design the styleguide to act as a central location where we house a live
inventory of UI components, brand guidelines, brand assets, code
snippets (helpers), developer guidelines and more.
● Work alongside the team to componentize most of the elements of the
La Haus project: buttons, inputs, filters, search box, modals, etc.
● Redesign of: Home Page, Onboarding Page, Search Map Page, Real Estate
comparator toots, among others.
