kPlug – Quick installation guide

This guide will (hopefully) help you install kPlug, the plugin/mod made by Katarsys that adds
sexual positions and many features to Koikatsu (Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/Katarsys)

Before reading, you need to know where are located:

• the folder where you installed Koikatsu
• the kPlug archive you downloaded

Since we will need to copy files from the kPlug archive into the Koikatsu folder, we will use colors
in order to distinguish those 2 locations:
• Paths in Koikatsu folder will be green
• Paths in kPlug folder will be blue

This guide is divided into 3 parts:

1. Installing kPlug
2. Setting kPlug custom uncensored genitals [OPTIONAL]
3. Changing some plugin shortcuts

So, let’s start!

1. Installing kPlug
First, you need to unzip the kPlug archive, wherever you want, but I suggest you do it somewhere
in your Koikatsu folder. If you have the BetterRepack version of Koikatsu, you might already have
the public version of kPlug in the [OPTIONAL] Mods folder (v2.1 at the date of writing this).

You should have a folder named kPlugCore containing sub-folders like this:

Now, there are several possibilities for you to install kPlug, depending on whether you use ABMX
(more sliders for characters/clothes customization) and if you have the Japanese or Steam version
of Koikatsu.

Go to kPlugCore\kPlugMisc\Version to find those sub-folders:

In each of them, you will find a KoikPlugins.dll file. You will have to pick the correct one:
• 2.1 → Japanese version, no use of ABMX (default)
• 2.1 fix for abmx → needed to use kPlug switch character function
• 2.1 Party → Steam version (or Japanese without Darkness DLC), no use of ABMX
• 2.1 Party fix for abmx → Steam version, needed to use kPlug switch character function

/!\ “Fix for abmx” will disable the pregnancy of a character set with KK_Pregnancy plugin.
Maybe it will be fixed in a future release.

So, now that you know which KoikPlugins.dll file to use:

1. Copy KoikPlugins.dll to BepInEx\IPA\
2. Copy kPlugCore\abdata\ to your Koikatsu folder so that it merges with its abdata folder
(confirm overwriting if asked)

Congratulations, you just installed kPlug!

If you want to use kPlug custom uncensored genitals, go to the following chapter. Otherwise, skip
to chapter 3.

2. Setting kPlug custom uncensored genitals [OPTIONAL]

kPlug comes with a custom uncensor for the penis and the vagina.
You can decide to use them, only one of them, or staying with the UncensorSelector ones.

If you don’t want to use kPlug uncensor, please skip those steps and go to chapter 3. Just check
that abdata\chara\oo_base.unity3d in your Koikatsu folder is the vanilla file.

So, here we go with the kPlug uncensor:

• Copy kPlugCore\kPlugMisc\kPlugUnc\abdata\ to your Koikatsu folder so that it
merges with its abdata folder (confirm overwriting if asked)

2.1 Uncensor for male AND female

1. Delete mods\Uncensors and body mods\ folder (or move it elsewhere)

2. Delete mods\KK_UncensorSelector Base.zipmod (or move it elsewhere)
3. Delete BepInEx\plugins\KK_Plugins\KK_UncensorSelector.dll plugin (or change its
extension to something else, like .bak)

2.2 Uncensor for EITHER male OR female

1. In mods\Uncensors and body mods\ delete (or move elsewhere) all files containing:
◦ [Female] if you want to use the female uncensor
OR
◦ [Penis] and [Balls] if you want to use the male uncensor
2. Put kPlugCore\kPlugMisc\FixForUncSelector\KK_UncensorSelector Base.zipmod
to mods\ folder

That should be it!

3. Changing some plugin shortcuts
Since kPlug uses many keyboard keys in addition to the ones Koikatsu already uses, we will need
to rebind at least 2 of them in the plugin configuration windows (F1 in-game).

In "Settings" and "Plugin / mod settings":

• Screenshot manager → change Take ui screenshot key from F9 to "O" (for example)
• Hide H interface → change Hide H ui toggle from Space to another key

how to use kPlug in-game and which plugins could interfere with it.

To help you a bit, press Delete key to open kPlug options interface on the title screen. In-game
(school, Free H), press U key to open a window containing all services/sex positions, the blue ones
being the ones added in kPlug.

Here you go, kPlug should be working. If not, don’t hesitate to post a message somewhere so that
this guide could be update/corrected (maybe on the 4chan thread since this is where I go).
