TESTS PROCEDURE AND RESULTS The sample, according to the standards IEC 60529 edition 2001 and NF EN 60529 edition 2000, was submitted to the following tests 2.1 Test for the protection against ingress of dust (IP5X) ‘The test was carried out according to clauses 12 and 13 of the above-mentioned standards. The sample was deemed of category 2 and it was placed in the dust chamber (see photograph opposite). Satisfactory result. 2.2 Test for the protection against pen: n_of water {IPX4} The test was carried out according to the clause 14.2.4 of the above-mentioned standards. ‘The sample was sprayed in all possible direction with an oscillating tube see photograph hereafter. Satisfactory resut. 3. CONCLUSION The sample described in paragraph 1, satisfies to the degrees of protection IP54.
