Describe the picture. Then explain what
Max needs to do to tidy up her room. Use
the vocabulary from the box.

A messy roommate
Imagine you had a terrible roommate who
was messy and disorganized. Now they are
gone, and you are looking for a new one. In
small groups, try to agree on some house
rules for your future roommate.

OK, first, pay your rent on time.


Second, hang up your clothes. Don’t
leave them all over the place!

Yeah, and don’t just throw the dishes


in the sink. Wash them right away, or
they’re bound to smell bad!

I’m studying to be a teacher, but my side


project is learning to play the guitar. Right
now, I’m practicing the basics little by
little, but in several months, I’ll be Language
successfully playing songs. Maybe I
