1 General and technical data

1.1 Introduction
Planmed Veterinary Positioning Table is a free-standing wheeled accessory
intended to be used with Planmed Verity Vet CBCT scanner.
The table is intended for animal patients only, particularly for supporting and
positioning animal patients while imaging with Planmed Verity Vet CBCT
scanner.

1.2 Warnings and precautions

CAUTION
Do not overtighten the nuts or bolts while assembling the Veterinary
Positioning Tray, the maximum tightening torque is 8 Nm.

CAUTION
Do not overload Veterinary Positioning Table, maximum load is 100 kg (220
lbs).

CAUTION
Do not overload Veterinary Positioning Tray, maximum load is 20 kg (44 lbs).

Steps
1. Before starting check that the surface on which the positioning table is
assembled is steady.
2. Line the surface on which the table is assembled with some protective
material to prevent the table surface from scratching.
3. Unload the parts from the box.
4. Check that you have the following parts:

(1) Table top with taped guide profiles

(2) Lower shelf
(3) Veterinary positioning tray
(4) 2 Framehalfs, both with 2 wheels
(5) Assembly kit containing:
• Screws: 8 pcs of M8 x 16 BN 1206
• Washers: 4 pcs of 8.4 Ø
• Nuts: 4 pcs of M8
5. Remove the tapes.
6. Check that the orange handle is correctly placed.

7. Attach the frame halfs on the table top.

The mounting points are numbered. Make sure you attach the right
frame half to the right mounting points. Attach the screws loosely with 5
mm Allen key.

8. Attach the bottom plate so that the end with the holes are attached first
and then the end with the notches. Insert the washers and attach them
with the nuts using a 13 mm Allen key.

9. Turn the positioning table upwards.

10. Check that the surface is steady and tighten the screws.

11. Verify that the table top locks to both end positions.

12. Attach the positioning tray.
