Case History of Child :-

Madurai District Child Helpline 1098 received a call Regarding an Accident

happened for 14 year-old girl Bavana of Kottampati. It was informed that she had
been admitted in Rajaji Government Hospital, Madurai for treatment. Moreover,
the girl was found to have several Physical Injuries. So information was given to
1098 to take appropriate action in this regard.

Background of History:-

The girl named bavana, studying 10 th. On her way from school to home she
was met with an Accident, she was hit by a druken man of local, and got several
physical injuries so that she was admitted in hospital to undertake her treatment.
And further this was given as a complaint to Kottampatti Police Station as
Accident but it was not taken into consideration as a case by the officials, so that
the Case for reported further to Madurai District Child Helpline.
Action taken:-

The information said that the child is now under treatment at Madurai
Rajaji Government Hospital. Based on this, the Staff Ragu, Case Worker went
directly to investigate about the case. With the support of Ragu case has filed a
written complaint in Kottampatti Police Station and was registered in FIR no53/24
under Section 249 and Section 687.

Follow up:-

She has recovered from all of her Physical Injuries.

Current status:-

The girl is now safe and going to School.
