Design Magic Text

Actions
Magic Text allows you to pull information directly from
Screens and Components
your Adalo Database dynamically.
Screens

Magic Text In components that display text, in the toolbar below the text box,
you will see the Magic Text icon: Clicking this will show you what
How to Format Dates and Magic Text you can add to your component.
Numbers
Magic Text will automatically be replaced with text from your App's
Sums, Counts, Averages, Min
Database. For example, if your screen is showing details for a Trip,
and Max
you can use Magic Text to show the Trip's Name.
How to Create a Custom Math
Formula You can display Magic Text for the Logged in User, any item in a list,
or any list item that links to the screen you're on.
Filters and Conditions
For example, if you have a travel app that displays options for trips,

and you want the user to be able to click on a particular trip and
Lists open a screen with more detailed information on that trip:

Sorting and Filtering Lists 1. Insert text boxes, images, or other components
Creating Custom Lists 2. Select the Magic Text icon from your text box's toolbar
