ANNOTATION: This site is the largest resource for information about Acid deposition, otherwise known
as Acid Rain is a huge problem in newly industrial nations. After a decade of the world suffering from
acid depletion the US congress created Acid Rain Program in Title IV of the 1990 Clean Air Act
Amendments. The EPA is in charge of this project and there site is by fare one of the most
comprehensive to laymen about the concepts and steps behind Acid Deposition. Many of the keynotes
from the site include maps where damage from past and present Acid Rain can be located, a kids section
to help inform future generations about Acid Rain. In the kids section there are interactive games and
videos to explain the concepts and what the US is doing to combat these problems.
