Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to systems or machines that mimic human intelligence to perform
tasks and can iteratively improve themselves based on the information they collect. AI manifests in
various forms, such as machine learning, where algorithms are trained to make predictions or
perform tasks by analyzing large amounts of data, and deep learning, a subset of machine learning
involving neural networks with three or more layers.

AI applications are incredibly diverse and can be found in industries from finance to healthcare. In
finance, AI algorithms improve portfolio management, fraud detection, and lending decisions. In
healthcare, AI helps in diagnostic processes, personalized medicine, and patient care management.
AI is also pivotal in autonomous vehicles, robotic process automation, and smart assistants like Siri
and Alexa.
