Mr. Lauzon is on holiday and will return thereafter. This is my first day at St. Monica and | have thoroughly enjoyed meeting the staff and many of your children on the playground, in the hallways and in their classrooms. In June, | retired from Calgary Catholic and will return to fulfill temporary contracts such as this. Throughout my 32 years with the school district, | took great pride in immersing myself in whichever school community | was a part of. As an example, tonight the Senior Boys Volleyball Team will compete against St. James in a playoff game, so | felt compelled to seek out and purchase a St. Monica-green shirt for the occasion. | look forward to the matches tonight and to the many events that will take place in the coming weeks that will require me to wear our school colors.
