Dear Reader.

I chose this topic because I became interested in how food can be used

worldwide for celebrations. I feel like it's a wonderful way to appreciate the diversity

on the Earth and expand our culinary horizons. I wanted to learn the symbolism

behind certain foods and dishes, cooking methods, and the history behind the food,

culture, or celebration. There is just so much in this one topic I felt like this was the

most interesting thing that I could research because of all the subtopics that fall into

this one topic and this gave me the chance to gain a lot of knowledge on the

meaning behind Food and Celebration and how cultures around the world use food

for celebrations, and with this knowledge I hope that you learn something from all of

these genres I made for this topic.
