Stats., a Class B Felony, and upon conviction may be sentenced to a term of imprisonment not to exceed sixty (60) years. PROBABLE CAUSE: ‘And prays that the defendant be dealt with according to law; this complaint is based on the statements of Victim A and the reports of the Waukesha Police Department: On July 7, 2024, at about 3:15 PM, Waukesha Police Officer Ryan Edwards responded toa sexual assault complaint near the Speedway, located at 400 Summit Avenue. Officer Edwards responded to that location, and spoke with Witness A (the mother of Victim A). Witness A said that her 16 year old daughter was the victim of a sexual assault. Witness A sald that her daughter met a man through one of her neighbors at the apartment complex that they lived. ‘Witness A provided a general description of this man. Witness A also said that her daughter may have been at the Speedway with this man the previous day — July 6, 2021. Officer Edwards briefly spoke with Victim A. She sald that she met this unknown male In the area of the Speedway Gas Station, and that they did go back to her apartment on July 6, 2021 on Delafield Street (in the City of Waukesha), Victim A said that they hung out and watched ovfosi2021 APR/16/2024/TUE 10:15 AM FAX Wo P, 003/007 Case 2021GF001053 Documen 2 Filed 07-09-2021 Page 2 of 4 STATE OF WISCONSIN - VS - Adam S Hetke television in her bedroom. Victim A sald that sho trusted this male because she had sean him around her apartment complex before and he was friands with one of her neighbors, Victim A said that while they ware watching television, the male sexually assaulted her, She said that he did put his penis into her vagina, She sald that when ho did this, “ho had a knife with him that ha set next to him on the bed,” Victim A said that the unknown male threatened her with the knife, saying that "she needed to have sex with him otherwise he would do something to her with the knife.” Victim A sald that when the unknown male was done sexually assaulting her, he left her room “by taking out a screened window and jumping through the window to exit." Victim A wonders whether her stepfather's knocking on her bedroom door may have scared the unknown male away. Officer Edwards noted in his report that, during his brief conversation with Victim A, that Victim ‘Amay have some cognitive disabilities or limitations. Witness A confirmed that Victim A “does have some cognitive disabilities and is unable to differentiate between who is a friend or somebody that is trying to harm her.” Witness A said that Victim A *will often make friends with anybody and has a hard time with boundaries,” In providing a brief description of this unknown male, Victim A said that the male goes by “Morgan” and that he may be a transvestite and that he is either part vampire or wants to be a vampire. Witness A and Victim A also said that they believe that this male may have been recently released from prison, and that he may be a sex offender. Witness A said that thay have seen this male often in the area of Delafield Street, specifically in the area of Speedway up towards the 1000 block of Delafield Street. Witness A said that this male appears to frequently hang out with the homeless people who frequent that area. Officer Edwards did convey this information to his supervisors, and together they located a Waukesha Police Department sex offender bulletin announcement, from October 30, 2020, which indicated that a subject named Adam S, Hetke, also known as Sabrina Hetke (DOB: 3/15/89 — hereinafter the Defendant) was being released from the Department of Corrections’ custody. Officer Edwards noticed that Defendant matched the description of this unknown male that Viclim A and Witness A previously identified, Sensitive Crimes Unit Investigation On July 7, 2021, Detective Stucker was assigned to follow-up on this complaint. Detective ‘Stucker coordinated to have Victim A forensically interviewed at the CARE Center. This forensic interview did occur on July 8, 2021. Witness A confirmed with Detective Stucker that Victim A “does have some cognitive delays and functions at a 6 year old level.” Witness A indicates that "she does have documentation from doctors that list all of her diagnoses and that she will provide those to me at a later time.” Detective Stucker prepared a photo lineup, including the Defendant in It. This photographic lineup was administered by Waukesha Police Officer Jirkowic, and was presented to Victim A. Victim A was 100% certain of her identification, CARE Center Interview Victim A was forensically interviewed at the CARE Center on July 8, 2021. Victim A said that when she first met the Defendant, he went by the name of Morrigan. She said that she met the Defendant through a friend of hers who also resided In the same apartment complex. Victim A said that her friend's residence Is located right behind the Speedway on 400 Summit Avenue. Victim A said that she met the Defendant there, and that they talked for a bit, Victim A said that they both agreed to go back to her house and watch a movie. She said that when they got to her house, her stepfather, Witness B, let them both into her home. Victim A said that once she let the Defendant into her room, he closed and locked the door behind him. Victim A said that when they were in the bedroom, they listened to the Defendant's “Gothic music’ and they hung out for a bit. Victim A said that at some point, the Defendant said that he wanted to have sex with her, She said that she did not want to have sex. Victim A was 16 years old at this time. The Defendant was 32 years old at this time. Victim A said that the Defendant then took her clothes off and then subsequently took his own clothes off. Victim A said that the Defendant had a swimsuit under his clothes. He told Victim A that “it will be OK,” Victim A said that he grabbed her breast and then stuck his penis into her vagina and had ‘sexual intercourse with her, Victim A told him to get off of her, but he would not. Victim A said that during this sexual assault, the Defendant had a knife lying next to him. The Defendant said that “I will use the knife on you if you don't do what | want.” Victim A said that she was afraid for her safely and did not fight back at the time. Victim A said that the Defendant “told her that he was a vampire and that he would bite her if she didn’t do what he wanted,” Victim A said that after the sexual assault was over, he then opened her bedroom window and Jumped out. Victim A sald that during the sexual assault, it made her feel disgusting and that the rape did not feel good. Interview of the Defendant On or around July 7, 2021, Detective Stucker did speak with the Defendant. The Interview ‘occurred at the Muskego Police Department, and Detective Stucker did inform him of hs right {o remain silent and his right to an attorney. The Defendant did waive all of these rights. The Defendant said that he remembers meeting Victim A on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. He said that he remembered that Victim had something wrong with her ankle and that she had a brace on it, Victim A said that he was talking with Victim and “he could see that she has had a lot of troubles in her life and told her that he could help her with her troubles because he has been through a lot.” ‘The Defendant sald that he did go to Victim A’s house, on Delafield Street in the City of Waukesha. The Defendant said that they watched a movie in Victim A's bedroom. When the Defendant was confronted abou! sexually assaulting Victim A, though, he adamantly denied sexually assaulting her, He said that he didn’t know thal sho was 16 years old. When again confronted about having sexual intercourse with her, “he then Indicated that he did not remember any sex.” ‘The Defendant sald that he left out of Victim A’s bedroom window because “he likes to jump out of windows because it's good exercise.” The Defendant said that his bike was right around the comer of Victim A's bedroom room. The Defendant sald “it was closer to jump out of the window to get his bike.” The Defendant admitted that he had “a black bathing suit on under his clothes.” He described it"as a one-piece bathing suit." On his person, at the time of his arrest, the Defendant had a knife on his person. That knife was described in the Waukesha Police Department's evidence inventory log in the following way: “Ozark Trail’ fixed blade knife with green paracord handle inside a black nylon sheath.” The statements of Victim A are accurate and reliable in that her statements were made about ‘events that she personally witnessed and experienced. ‘The reports of the Waukesha Police Department are accurate and reliable in that the reports were prepared during the course of an official law enforcement investigation. All of this occurred in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. Based on the foregoing, the complainant believes this complaint to be true and correct.
