UNIT 2 SHORT ANSWERS


Answer the following sentences with short answers. Contractions are not used in the affirmative. Note also the following changes: Iyou; weyou, we; youI, we; he, she, it and they do not change. 1 Example: Can you speak Catalan? Yes, I can. No, I cant/No, I cannot. a b c d e Can you look in on him on your way home? Can you tell me what happened? Can she play the violin? Can they mend a puncture? Can he draw?
