Today I am going to talk about the cystic fibrosis

Cystic fibrosis is an inherited disorder that causes serious


damage to the lungs, digestive system and other organs
in the body. Also, affects the cells that produce mucus,
sweat and digestive juices.But in people with cystic
fibrosis, a defective gene causes secretions to become
sticky and thick

Instead of acting as lubricants, secretions clog tubes,


ducts, and passageways, especially in the lungs
and pancreas

Improvements in screening and treatments mean that


people with chemical fibrosis can now live into their
30s or 40s, and some live into their 50s.

How get's cystic fibrosis?

Cystic fibrosis is a genetic defefct, in this gene changes the


way a salt enters and leaves cells, causing thick,
sticky mucus in the respiratory, digestive and
reproductive systems.

a child must inherit one copy of the mutated gene from


each parent. If you only inherit one copy from one parent,
you will not get the disease.

There are two types of symptoms associated with cystic fibrosis.
