Studious Little Classroom
For each worksheet, students will find a word and write it on a
line until they have found all 8 words. After finding all the words,
they get to color the pictures!
Not only is this great independent sight word practice, but the
coloring strengthens fine-motor skills!
Tips
• Model how to cross off a word after finding it.
• It does not matter what order they write the 8 words in—the
goal is to find them all!
• Some words are sideways – show your students how to turn
the page until they can see the word and write the word
correctly. (They might write the ‘d’ in a sideways word as ‘p’
if they aren’t careful!)
• Words 7 and 8 are a little more hidden—model how to figure
out the order of the letters and cross off the word.
You must have Adobe Reader to input your own sight
words (or any words) into this resource!
If you do not have Adobe Reader, you can download Adobe
Reader here for FREE. When you open this file, make sure it
opens in Adobe Reader. If this file opens in another program,
right click, select “Open with”, and click “Adobe Reader”.

HOW TO INPUT YOUR WORDS:

1. Type 8 words into the form fields on the next page (page 4).
2. These 8 words will automatically populate into each page of
this resource.
3. To use a different set of words, you will need to edit the
form fields on page 4 and then print the specific page of the
resource you want with that set of words. Do this each time
you want to use a new set of words.
