-Analogous estimating: The cost is estimated by comparing it with similar projects
previously completed by the organisation. This is also known as top down estimating.
The technique while low cost and quick and does not provide a reliable estimation.

The individual assesses their own performance which could be against a specific criteria.
Advantage: Individual can contribute this information to their formal performance
review.
Disadvantage: They may have difficulties in rating themselves.
1.- 360 degree feedback: This type of performance appraisal includes feedback from the
manager and employee, as well as from the team members and spurces.
2.- Management by objective method: This involves an employee and manager agreeing
to set of attainable performance goals that the employee will aim to achieve over a
specific time period.
