This paper proposes an e-payment processing architecture to permit students to transfer tuition
fees payments to their university portal accounts using different payment forms such as e-
banking, credit cards, and debit cards. The architecture is based on RESTful web services that can
exchange financial transactions with all Jordanian banks via the eFAWATEERcom platform to
process online tuition payments. Besides, various essential aspects to secure the proposed web
services such as server security, network security, and data-integrity protection are addressed in
this work to gain the trust of customers. Further, the web services are designed to be robust so
they can appropriately handle input errors and software exceptions. In that regard, the
deployment of the web services resulted in a high percentage of e-payments to overall
payments, which asserts the popularity of the e-payment service amongst students.

Victoria high school has undergone a complete redecoration the manual way of keeping records
has now been digitalized so as to ease the storing of the required data. The researcher designed
a fees payment and monitoring system for school bursar that provided all the school’s functions
in order to improve the use of the fees payment and to reduce paper work. The main importance
of the fees payment and monitoring system was the automation of the day to day operations
ofthe school as well as monitoring the school resources such as fee’s defaulters. Its supported
functions such as issuing of clearance cards and additional of the new students. The researcher
used interview, questionnaires and observation as methods of data collection. The above
methods enabled the researcher to collects relevant and accurate information. Collected data
was analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively by using computer packages like correlation
and Microsoft SPSS. The new has a wide variety of functionalities and management tools for the
Victoria high school users, users being bursar and school students. Some of the functionalities
are searching student’s names, issuing receipts and clearance cards. However, it is up to the
school to use our system. Unfortunately, up to now the school is running everything on
manually. With this new system, no more users can search for particular name of the student
from the system while the system administrator can add new users. The system has user login
specially designed for the system administrator. Normal users can’t access the main menu unless
they have the privilege granted by the system administrator. So in other word the main menu
has user name and password. With this new system in effect the usage of bursar at the Victoria
High School will be efficient, well managed and secure. The researcher recommend that before
the application is put into full use, it should be tested in a sample field to estimate any bugs that
may not have been identified at the time of development. Also the researcher introduced the
implementation of the new system online, system recovery and maintenance as areas of future
study.
The objective of this research was to study the factors influencing consumer’s intention to use an
online payment method and how this usage intention affects buying behaviour. The previous
studies have mainly focused on traditional payment methods, leaving the online payment
methods without a sufficient attention. The four most popular online payment methods, which
are credit card, internet banking, PayPal and invoicing, were chosen for this study to fill this gap.
The research utilized the Technology Acceptance theory and the acceptance of mobile payments
model. According to them, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived risk and
attitude affect the usage intention of new technologies. The effect of payment behaviour on
buying behaviour, however, is a broad research field. Willingness to pay, pain of paying and
perception of ownership were, therefore, chosen to this study due to the researcher’s point of
interest. The indicators for measuring buying behaviour were collected from several studies and
models. The data were collected through quantitative structured questionnaire, which was
distributed through an internet survey. All respondents were required to answer on questions
based on the same purchase situation and one randomly assigned online payment method.
Based on the results, consumer’s intention to use an online payment method is affected by
attitude, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. However, perceived risk does not
affect usage intention. Previous studies are divided into two extremities about the effect of
perceived risk on usage intention. Therefore, the results are partially consistent with the
previous studies. The usage intention was also found to affect pain of paying and perception of
ownership. However, the effect on willingness to pay was not significant. The previous research
has mainly focused on traditional payment methods. Therefore, there is not enough information
about willingness to pay in an online context. However, based on the results, it can be noted that
factors affecting willingness to pay with online payment methods are not the same as with
traditional payment methods.
