THE PETITIONER ABOVENAMED STATE AS UNDER:-

1. The Petitioner is an adult, Indian Inhabitant residing at the

address mentioned in the cause title hereinabove. The Respondent also an

adult, Indian Inhabitant residing at the address mentioned in the cause title

hereinabove.

2. The Petitioner, then a spinster, aged about ______ years, and the

Respondent, then a bachelor, aged about _____ years were married on

____________, according to applicable Hindu rites and customs in accordance

with the Hindu Marriage Act 1955 (“the said Act”) and the marriage of the

Petitioner and the Respondent has been registered under the provisions of the

said Act.

3. At all the material times, the Petitioner and the Respondent have

professed and are still professing the Hindu religion and are citizens of India

and are domiciled in the state of ____________.

4. The Petitioner is constrained to file the present Petition for divorce

against the Respondent under Section 13(1)(ib) of the said Act as the

Respondent-husband has deserted the Petitioner for more than two years,

without any cause and against the Petitioner’s wishes and has neglected the

Petitioner; for maintenance; and the custody of the daughter born from the

wedlock of the Petitioner and the Respondent.

issues involved in the present Petition, are as under –
