Oral and Written Mediation Tips: 1.Don't get scared. It may look like a long complicated text, but you don't need to understand everything NOR tell everything. 2.Read the text once and say/write your message from what you remember, without looking at the text. That way you will not copy and only tell the most relevant information. Better simple then copied. 3.Don't give your opinion. Paraphrase. Don't give specific examples. 4,Don't use words from the text. While you read you can take notes, write down synonyms or generic words you can use (coke—» soft drinks; hamburger — fast food). 5.Start with more general information (it’s an action film) then go to more detailed (it’s set in Africa).
