aid of a low-powered microscope, to establish whether sufficient detail exists to
identify individual digits from the remaining portion of the serial number. Destructive
techniques include the use of magnetic particle and acid etching techniques.

impression?
The best casting material for foot impression and tire impression Investigators use a
variety of products to create casts, but dental stone, in fact, is widely considered the
best casting material due to its strength, accuracy and ease of use. As available
equipment and techniques for forensic science improve, many in the field are
r-ealizing the importance of impression evidence.
