b. Usage
1.Diễn tả hành động đang xảy ra ở thời điểm nói..
My father is watching TV now. (Bố tôi đang xem TV)

2.Diễn đạt một hành động sắp xảy ra trong tương lai gần. Thường diễn tả một kế hoạch
đã được lên lịch sẵn.
I am flying to Kyoto tomorrow. (Tôi sẽ bay đến Kyoto vào ngày mai)

I am having exam tomorrow so I have to stay up late to study

3.Để phàn nàn vì gây khó chịu , ko hài lòng , ta dùng vs trạng từ chỉ tần suất always :

be+ always +Ving

He is always coming late. (Anh ta toàn đi muộn)

4.Mô tả cái gì đó phát triển hơn, đổi mới hơn

The children are growing quickly
The sky is becoming dark now

c. Dấu hiệu nhận biết

Trạng từ chỉ thời gian: - Now: Bây giờ
- Right now: Ngay bây giờ
- At the moment: Ngay lúc này
- At present: Hiện tại
- It’s + giờ cụ thể + now (It’s 12 o’lock now)

- Look!/ Watch! (Nhìn kìa!)

- Listen! (Nghe này!)
Có các động từ như:
- Keep silent! (Hãy im lặng)
- Watch out! = Look out! (Coi chừng)

d. NOTES
- Đa phần chỉ thêm ing vào sau mỗi dộng từ
- “e”  bỏ “e”  thêm “ing” improve  improving
- “ie”  “ying” die  dying
- Nên nhớ vì nó hơi đặc biệt, quy tắc khá dài : running , stopping , beginning
