embodying both power and rebirth. This essay explores
the captivating tale of Quetzalcoatl, his role in Aztec
mythology, and the enduring impact of his legend on

 The Creation of
Humanity
According to Aztec mythology, Quetzalcoatl, along with
the god Tezcatlipoca, played a pivotal role in the creation
of humanity. The first humans were molded from the
bones of earlier beings and were bestowed with the gifts
of knowledge and culture. Under Quetzalcoatl's
guidance, these people flourished, embracing the
wisdom he offered and prospering in their society.
 The Betrayal
