Movie Scene: Friends.

We chose our scenes out of the tv show called Friends. This tv show is about a group of 6
friends who experience many fun and not so fun things together. Friends fit perfectly in the
comedy section of any streaming platform and is perfect for the whole family to watch. This is
personally a TV show that we both have watched a million times and we haven’t gotten sick of
it.

This first scene that we have chosen is when Ross goes on a date wearing leather pants. He
starts to sweat while watching a movie with his date and decides to go to the bathroom and
cool off. When he tries to put his pants back up, they don’t fit and won’t go on. He calls his
friend Joey who is at Monica’s house to try get some help or tips on how to put the pants back
on.

Joey (on the phone)

2: Ross (calling Joey/Can't get his
leather pants back on)

Joey: (answering the phone) Hallo.

Ross: Joey, it's Ross. I need some help!

Joey: Uh, Chandler's not here.

Ross: Well YOU can help me?

Joey: ...Okay...?

Ross: Listen, I'm in Elizabeth's

bathroom...

Joey: Niiice...!

Ross: No, I got really hot in my leather

pants, so I took them off,

but they must have shrunk from the sweat
or something, or my legs expanded from
the heat.
But I can't get them back on, Joey,
I can't!

Joey: Oh! That is quite a situation!

Uh, do you see any...like...powder?
Ross: Powder! Yeah! Yeah! I have powder!

Joey: Good, good, okay!

Sprinkle some of that on your legs.
It'll absorb some of the moisture,
and then you can get your pants back on.

Ross: Yeah okay, hold on...

(He's going crazy with the powder,

but it's not working)

Ross: (almost crying) They're not coming

on, man!

Joey: Uhm...You see any...oh, vaseline?

Ross: OH! I see lotion, I have lotion,

will that work?

Joey: Yeah sure, throw some of that on

there!

Ross: Hold on...

(Throwing a ton of lotion everywhere.

His hand is slipping, and he hits
himself in the head, trying to get the
pants back on)

Joey: Ross? You're okay?

Ross: (desperate) They're still not

coming on, man,
and the lotion and the powder have
made a paste!

Joey: Really?
Uh, what color is it?

Ross: What difference does that make?!?

Joey: Well, if the paste machtes the

pants, you can make yourself a pair of
paste pants, and she won't know the
difference!

(Rachel enters Joeys apartment)

Ross: Dude, what am I (gets interrupted)

Joey: Uh, Rachel's here, so good

luck, man. Let me know how it works out.

Now, we are going to represent the following scene, which is a strange conversation between
Joey and Rachel, and because we do not want you to get confused, Cristina will be doing now
the part of Rachel.

Rachel walks in:

Oh, Joey I have such a problem

Oh well, your timing could not be better. im putting out fires all over the place.
Okay, okay Joey I have got to tell you something.
What is it, what is it?
It so huge, but you have to prime se, you cannot tell anyone
NO, I don’t want to know.
What? Yes, you do want to know, this is unbelievable!
I don't care Rach! Look, I am tired of being the guy who knows all the secrets and can’t tell
anyone.
What? What secrets, what are they?
(Yelling) And you are not supposed to be gossiping!
I know, I can’t keep this in, So I pick up the phone…
(Joey puts his hands in his ears) LALALALA!

Rachel walks out:

Joey: I am not listening to you! LALALALA
