For the First Time

I’m not like the kids that were the same age as me, when playing either outside or inside of the
house, but for me I’m that type of kid that was always inside of the house, because of one reason
and one reason only, “The hot ray of sunlight” many people will say that the sun is healthy for
the skin, and I knew that, now, but back then, I didn’t knew such things. I always think inside my
mind that the sun was bad for the body and skin.
But Suddenly..
As I remembered, it was around 12nn at that time I think I was sleeping, until my father woke
me up saying, “Kasal Ng ate mo Ngayong January 3, pupunta Tayo Doon”
I replied saying “Saan?” as curiousity takes over me.
My father said “Sa Glan.” (if you didn’t know I was born in manila, so I didn’t have a clue where
Glan is), So I just Accepted. Let’s fast forward to the Wedding, at this time we have landed from
Manila to gensan and then traveled from Gensan to Glan, and the venue was a Popular resort
called “Don Juan Hacienda”, I was thrilled at seeing the huge “White House”, but there was only
one thing that catch my eye was the beautiful ocean that was in front off me, because that was
the first time I ever saw the ocean.
Before the wedding start, both of me and my brother were just playing in the sand, and I saw that
the Bride and my sister where being filmed for a “Wedding celebration video” that they will edit
and post on there page. Around this time the wedding is finally over and that was the time that I
ever felt the cold freezing water of ocean because it was around 7pm all ready, so that’s why it’s
really cold, and also I remember a core memory included in that swimming in night,I remember
that we rented a banana boat, where around 6 people could seat at and enjoy, but for me it was
like a challenge that I have to do to survive because of how Shakey the boat was and that was
also the first time I ever drowned, but I really did enjoy the vacation.
