We have booked Murex Beach hotel at Hulhumale. King size bed with balcony, free breakfast and one way airport
transfer included for 2 adults and 1 children. The sea beach was at the back of our hotel.
You can take taxi from Airport to Hulhumale city (MVR 60) or to Male city (MVR 60). See picture of taxi rate
Taxi rate is fixed in Male and Hulhumale city. So, if you use taxi, no need to worry about fare bargaining. Taxi fare either
MVR 25 or MVR 60 or MVR 75 depending on distance. Just take a taxi and ask to drop off at your destination, they will
take only actual fare (MVR 25 or 60 or MBR 75).
A Tourist mobile SIM cost USD 35. You can buy and activate it from airport. Personally, I don't find any reason to buy
this costly mobile SIM unless you stay for long days. You can manage your communication through free Wi-Fi at airport
and hotel.
After completing immigration formalities and collecting luggage, come to Information Desk (ask anyone for directions).
From information desk, use free telephone support to call your hotel free of cost. You can get airport free Wi-Fi (120
minutes free). If you face any difficulties to connect airport free Wi-Fi, seek help from information desk personnel. See

Buy double decker bus ticket (MVR 10 per person) to travel and explore Hulhumale and Male city. Download this app.
You can check bus routes, live bus tracking, where to buy tickets etc. This is AC bus and is very comfortable. See

Try to find out restaurant where local people eats. You can complete your lunch or dinner within MVR 75 per person.
Beside Villingili Ferry Terminal, you will find lot of local restaurants under one roof (West Harbor Food Court). Most of
them serve buffet lunch and dinner with 7 to 10 items. Cost per person MVR 100 net.
At Maafushi, seafood platter is best at "Mr. Octopus - Your holiday Chef" restaurant, Pizza is best at "Pizza & Pasta
Mamma Mia" restaurant.

Explore nearby island from male Ferry Terminal. Cost of ticket per person per way is MVR 3.25. It takes 10 minutes to

In Male & Hulhumale Island, you can use transport card to use public transport (bus & Ferry). Just ask hotel reception
to give you this card. You need to top up or load the card from selected shop to use in public bus and ferry. One card
can be used for as many as people. See picture of Transport Link Card. My Hulhumale Island hotel (Hotel Murex Beach
Resort) gave me this card and I loaded it with MVR 120. See picture of hotel and top up shop location.
Do money exchange from Hulhumale city (Sago Money Exchange). You will get 100 MVR more per USD 100 then
