gathering when Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) gathered information about the
Philippines’ unemployment rate in December 2023. Additionally, when BanKo Sentral ng
Pilipinas (BSP) conducted survey to gather data on household savings, family income, and
inflation rates. Second, interpretation when Sonny Africa stated that Filipinos indeed have
jobs, but their earnings are not enough to provide for their most necessities. Lastly, critical
analysis when Africa pointed out that they believe in the integrity of the country’s statistical
system but urged the public not to look at one number alone since numbers rarely speak for
themselves.
