Lesson Plan (one on four/many demo)

Topic: My Body
➢ Teaching Objects: Let the students identify the different body parts in English.
The kids can ask and answer body parts by themselves.
➢ Key words and key sentences: nose eyes mouth ears

➢ Teaching aids: flash cards + markers + sticky balls + rewards(eg.stickers)
➢ Teaching steps:
Warming up:
(1)Greetings(lead in):
Eg.Hello kids, how are you? I am xxx. What is your name? Can you tell me? I will
give you a star after you telling me........Great! Good name. Then write students’ name
on the board.
(2)Explain rules of rewards:
Eg.Answer questions positively or stay stable and formal---add one star each time.
(3)Sing a song(eg.“One Little finger”)
(Tip:don’t forget to say with your beautiful smile)

Presentation(main part):
Teacher shows the flash cards to students and let them read after the teacher. When
they finish one word, then choose one student to draw the body part on the board.

Practice
Games (eg. sticky ball; find out flash cards )
Tip:Don't forget to add stars

Production
(1)Review the words and sentences by showing flash cards
(2)Let kids point out body parts without flash cards
(3)Count the number of stars and give rewards to kids
(4)Say goodbye and sing goodbye song
Tip: If possible, don’t forget to teach your kids to say they like you
