I. Introduction
Thesis statement: Despite that, career choices involve personal
interests, working environment and visions for future, as well as the
level of educations. Although becoming an English teacher or
interpreter entails considering the aforementioned factors; they differ
in many aspects.However, because robots lack the unique
temperament of human beings, there are still specific occupations in
different areas that only human can perform, which are education
employees and international interpreters.

With the changes of time and the development of technology, numerous


academic fields have been replaced by the outstanding learning abilities of artificial
intelligence. However, because robots lack the unique temperament of human beings,
there are still specific occupations in different areas that only human can perform,

As an English major student, the choice between entering into education field or

interpretation business is a common decision after graduation is a common decision


compare to other career paths. Of course, human desires also play a crucial part in
decision-making process. Despite that, career choices involve personal interests,
working environment and visions for future, as well as the level of educations. While
both paths involve language and professional English skills, they differ from many
aspects.Although becoming an English teacher or interpreter entails aforementioned
factors; they differ in many aspects.
Firstly, the education requirements for each career path differ. To become an
English teacher, an individual s typically needs a bachelor’s degree in English and
education, followed by obtaining a teaching certification or licensure. Advanced
Degrees such as a Master’s in Education or English field may be preferred for higher-
level positions or specialized teaching roles. In contrast, becoming an interpreter
requires proficiency in at least two languages and a bachelor’s degree in an academic
field like linguistics, languages, or interpretation.
Moreover, the work environments for English teachers and interpreters differ.
English teachers commonly work in schools, from elementary to high school levels.
They may also work in language laboratory or tutoring centers, depending on their
qualifications and academic competence. On the other hand, interpreters can work in a
variety of places, including government agencies, international organizations, and so
on.
NeverthelessFinally, salary offers differ for English teachers and interpreters.
English teachers teachers' salaries vary based on aspects such as location, level of
education, and teaching experience. On the contrary, interpreter salaries can vary

or an interpreter depends on their interests and career aspirations.
