The Essence Of Love In Islam

Azka Aqilah - Imam Hambali

Assalamualaikum, Wr. Wb. Good afternoon, everyone. First of all, I would like to thank God Allah
SWT who has been giving us blessings and mercies so we can attend today's in a good condition.

Everyone must have felt love, so we are sure that everyone is familiar with the name "love" or
falling in love.

In Islam, love is given the haram law! How does that mean? Of course, by haram love we mean
love that brings two people closer to the pit of adultery, such as dating. That's one side

On the other hand, there is also love that is given an obligatory ruling! What is that love? Namely,
love for Allah and His Messenger, and for the Quran. That is love that is obligatory and has the
highest degree. It is these things that will make a person to continue to be istiqomah in fulfilling
worship to Him. Praying on time, reciting and studying the Quran and Al-Hadith, pursuing
knowledge, calling for goodness to others are all forms of a servant's love for his Lord.

We will be considered a lie if we claim to love Allah SWT, but do not carry out His commands. In
his book Doktor A'id mentions two things about love, namely:

1. Worldly love is love related to worldly things.

This is monkey love, cheap love, and love just joking around.

2. Divine love is love related to what is known as celestial love. Because, we love with a higher
level that functions for worship.

That all for me thank u for your attention

Wassalam..
