The Central University of Haryana was established under the Central Universities Act, 2009 of parliament in
2009. It is one of the 15 Central Universities established by Ministry of Human Resource Development,
Government of India under the five-year plan (2007-2012). With the objective of imparting quality education in
the field of Engineering, the Central University of Haryana has launched the Department of Civil Engineering
in the year 2016-17 under the school of Engineering and Technology. The Department of Civil Engineering in
the Central University of Haryana is offering four years, B.Tech. Program.
