SALIENT FEATURES OF THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR APPOINTMENT TO THE POST OF

TECHNICAL OFFICER-C (DR-10) IN LEVEL 10 OF PAY MATRIX

(ADVERTISEMENT NO. 03/2022-R-IV)

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Trombay, Mumbai initiated recruitment process to fill up the vacancies
in BARC for the post of Technical Officer-C in Group ‘A’ (Gazetted) by Direct Recruitment. Accordingly, an
abridged version of Advertisement No. 03/2022 (R-IV) was released in Employment News and other daily

newspapers. The detailed advertisement was displayed on BARC website www.barc.gov.in and
www.recruit.barc.gov.in with instructions to candidates to apply online. The last date for submission of online
applications was 30.09.2022.

Note : Since 1929 candidates applied for the post, a screening test was conducted on 18.06.2023 as per

(6) guarantee appointment. Even after selection, if it is found that the candidate is not fulfilling the Recruitment
Norms, his/her candidature is liable to be terminated / cancelled at any stage without further notice.
Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC and EWS were assessed by adopting relaxed standards. However,
(7) Reserved category candidates who have not availed relaxation are placed under Select/Wait List of
Unreserved category.
Wait list shall be operated only in the event of occurrence of a vacancy caused by non-joining of the candidate
from the select list within stipulated time allowed for joining the post or where a candidate joins the post but
(8) resigns or dies. However, the wait list will not be operated beyond one year or after notifying fresh
recruitment process whichever is earlier.
