Attention

● Separate the two parts by inserting and rotating a screwdriver. Pay attention when separation in case of damaging other
parts and the product.

1. Insert into the bottom to separate the controller 2. Pass power source line through trough, and
by a slotted screwdriver with top width 6mm. fix the back cover onto the wall by screws (pay
attention to the arrow direction when installation).

Attention

● Specification of communication cable: 0.3~0.75mm2(total length ≤30m), twisted cable of


1P-0.75mm2 (total length >30m) is also acceptable. Cables other than specified will lead to mis-operation due to clutter
● Wiring cable between remote controller and indoor unit shall keep a distance of at least 30cm from the power source
line. If within 30cm, iron conduit shall be applied to accommodate the cable, and a D type earthing shall be provided at
one side. Otherwise, failures may raised from mis-operation of air conditioners due to power source disturbance.
● Seal the gaps, if any, in cable conduit of remote controller box with vinyl tape. Otherwise, the ingress of water drop or
insects may raise failures.
● When installation keep the controller at a distance of at least 0.5m from the lamp.
● When installation remote controller should be located at eye-level. It is suggested at the height of around 1.3~1.5m, with
angle of viewing within 30°.
● When connecting with indoor units only, remote controllers can connect up to six units .

7.5 Checking procedure

● Test run duration is defaulted as 2h.


● Test run is to commission the air conditioner units, and guarantee a proper operation of refrigerant

system and water system. Once operation enters normal state, press 『 』 to exit from test run.
● In case of wrong quantity of the units, it may raised from improper connection or from the auto-
addressing due to disturbance. Please cut off power supply and check wiring connections.

Hold 『 』 and 『 』 simultaneously in usual state


for 5s to enter Test Run setting state. The icon of
Test Run display.

Quantity of 01 displays at the location of set
temperature.

Press『 』in the above interface to start test run.


2 The air conditioner turns off after the defaulted test run
duration of 2h.

7.6 Operation instruction

Basic Functions
Mode
Only units with Cool and Heat functions for shop/office and VRF with Cool and
Heat functions for building are capable of heating. Those with cooling function
only are not capable of heating.

Switch on.
Preparation

Power supply shall be available before


operation to protect compressor.
LCD is as shown on the right when
energized.
Do not cut off power supply in
operation season.

Press to select operation mode.


Each press of the button, the operation
mode will switch as the following
1 sequence.

● When connected with total heat exchanger, only air supply mode will display. Please contact the dealer for details.
● When connected with double-source indoor units, FAN and HEAT display. Please contact the dealer for details.
● Wired remote controller will display dry or auto-dry according to the actual condition that whether the connected ducted
type indoor units have equipped with humidity sensor or not.
● For the mode described in Item 1 will be skipped automatically when it is unavailable or the connected unit type does not
support.
● When connected a indoor unit with 3-Level dry, the wired remote controller can display three different levels of dry
operation: standard, C- Dry and S-Dry. Please contact the dealer for details.

Operation

Press『 』
The operation indicator light lits up and the
Start unit starts running.
The icon "ON" displays.

Press『 』
The operation indicator light goes out and
Stop the unit stops.
The icon "ON" disappeared.

● Once heating operation is stopped, the indoor unit will supply air for around 2 minutes.

Temperature

In usual mode, each press of


『 』will increase the temperature by 0.5℃ . And

1 rapid switching can be realized by holding this


button.

● Room temperature can be displayed after special setting on controller. Please contact with the dealer for details.
● Hold 『 』 and 『 』for 3s to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

Humidity

Each press of『 』will increase the


humidity by 1% (max. 90%). And rapid
1 switching can be realized by holding this
button.

Each press of『 』will decrease the


humidity by 1% (min. 35%). Rapid
2 switching can be realized by holding this
button.

● Auto-Dry mode is valid only when such function is available in the indoor unit. Please contact
the dealer for details.
● When connected a dehumidifier with 3-level Dry, the left lower corner shows target humidity value in Dry mode, and only
temperature value can be adjusted. Please contact with the dealer for details.

Louver
● Options of louver setting may vary along with the types of indoor units. Please refer to the manual of indoor unit for
details.
● When the louver is in operation, location display on LCD may not exactly match with the actual location.
● Sometimes the louver may not stop immediately after pressing the key.

● Louver setting when connected with 3D panel

Press『 』to start up the unit. Press『 』to


set louver direction. Each press of the button will
1 adjust the direction as the following sequence.

When is selected and flashing, Press『 』


and vertical louver swings or changes the angle at
stop. Each press of the button the vertical louver
will display in a flashing manner as the following
sequence.

2 Press『 』and vertical louver will display in a


reverse manner of the above sequence.
When flashes for 5s, the blades move and
vertical louver starts to swing. When other icons
flash and stop after 5s, vertical louver stops at set
location.

Fan

Press to set air volume.


Each press of the button the adjust the air
volume as the following:
6-level: AUTO

1 (Breeze → SL → L → M → H → SH → AUTO)

4-level: AUTO

( L → M → H → SH → AUTO)

3-level:
(L → M → H → AUTO)

● Air volume is adjustable during Dry operation, but it is defaulted at Low by indoor unit.
● Depending on the types of connected indoor units, Auto mode can display when controlling certain indoor units by wired
remote controller. Please contact the dealers for details.
● AUTO can be set only when this function is available in the indoor unit.

Fan

Attention ● Louver will not display when connected with an indoor unit without louver.

● Louver setting when connected with common 4-way cassette type indoor units.

Press『 』to start up the unit.


Press『 』to set louver direction. Each
press of the button will adjust the direction

when the unit is ON by holding FAN button. Please contact with the dealer for details.

● When operation mode is changed, the Health function does not cancel.
● When the unit is OFF, the User can set if Health function will be auto-on or off when starts up by holding『 』for over
5s.

ECO
Attention ● The icon of ECO does not display when connected with an indoor unit without this
function. ECO is not available when air volume or temperature is restricted, and if
ECO function has been set, the function will be canceled automatically by then.

● When setting ECO function by wired remote controller, set air volume and temperature are non-adjustable. Indoor unit
will set air volume and temperature automatically.
● ECO mode is canceled when the air conditioner is switched OFF.
● ECO mode is canceled when the operation mode is changed.

Sleep
Attention ● The icon of Sleep does not display when connected with an indoor unit without this
function. Sleep function invalids when temperature or air volume is restricted.

1 Press『 』or『 』to select Sleep,
if the icon of Sleep flashes it is in
setting state.

When Sleep function is in setting


state, if it hasn't been set before, this
function will be valid after flashing for
5s or by pressing『 』button.
2 Then Sleep icon will display on
the LED, and there's an automatic
dimming of screen and operation
indicator light. The timer power-off of
8h flashes, which can be adjusted by
pressing『 』or『 』.

When Sleep function is in setting


state, if it has been set before, this
function will be canceled after flashing
3 for 5s or by pressing『 』.
Then timer will be canceled, screen
and operation indicator light come
back to normal brightness.

● When setting to Sleep mode by remote controller, the air volume is at Low, which can be adjusted during Sleep mode.
● Sleep mode is canceled when the air conditioner is switched OFF.
● Sleep mode is canceled when operation mode is changed.
● Sleep mode is canceled when timer power-off is canceled.
● In Sleep mode, timing duration can be adjusted.

Self-cleaning
Attention ● The icon of Self-cleaning does not display when connected with an indoor unit
without this function.

Press『 』in OFF state,


1 if the icon of Self-cleaning flashes it is
in setting state.

When Self-cleaning is in setting state,


press『 』and run indicator is
ON, indicating the function works. At
present, only the icon of Self-cleaning
and『ON』 display.
2
In Self-cleaning mode, no button
works except for『 』.

Self-cleaning will stop automatically


after 16~33 minutes' operation. Or
3 cancel this function by pressing 『 』
during operation.

● When setting to Sleep mode by remote controller, the air volume is at Low, which can be adjusted during Sleep mode.
● Sleep mode is canceled when the air conditioner is switched OFF.
● Sleep mode is canceled when operation mode is changed.
● Sleep mode is canceled when timer power-off is canceled.
● In Sleep mode, timing duration can be adjusted.

Electric Heater
Attention ● The icon of Electric Heater does not display when connected with an indoor unit
without this function.

● Electric Heater is available only in Heat mode.


● Electric Heater is canceled when the air conditioner is switched OFF.
● Electric Heater is canceled when the operation mode is changed.
● This function is not available when connected with an indoor unit without electric heater.

Quiet

function. Quiet may be invalid when air volume is restricted.

set volume.
● Quiet mode is canceled when the air conditioner is switched OFF.

Nature Wind
Attention ● Icon of Nature Wind does not display when connecting with an indoor unit without
this function. Nature Wind may be invalid when air volume is restricted.

When Nature Wind is in setting state,

● Nature Wind is available only in Cool mode.


● Nature Wind is canceled when the air conditioner is switched OFF.
● Nature Wind is canceled when the operation mode is changed.
● When setting Nature Wind, both set air volume and direction are non-adjustable, indoor unit will take control over the air
volume and direction.
● When connected with an indoor unit has Nature Wind function and equipped with 3D panel, once it is set to Nature Wind,
the louver will be in swing state.

Wind Free
Attention ● The icon of Wind Free does not display when connected with an indoor unit without

Other Displays
State
Central Controller

When voiding remote controller through


central controller, the remote controller
is not able to set operation, temperature,
mode, air volume ,louver.

The icon lits up when filter requires


Filter

cleaning. Holding 『 』for over 3s


will clear the icon.
Defrosting

The icon lits up when outdoor unit is


performing auto-defrosting operation,
and goes out when completed.
Pre-heating

PREH.
To protect air conditioning system and
improve comfort level, when the air
conditioner is preparing for operation
after startup, this icon will lit up for a
while and then goes out.

Other Displays

This icon lits up when holding『 』


Button Lock

+『 』simultaneously for over 5s,


indicating the remote controller is in button
locking, and buttons does not work. When
locked, hold『 』+『 』 simultaneously
for over 5s to unlock. And buttons work
again.

This icon lits up when holding『 』


Function Lock

+『 』simultaneously for over 5s,


indicating the remote controller is in
function locking, and MODE, FAN,
LOUV, TIMER are locked.
When locked, hold『 』+『 』
simultaneously for over 5s to unlock. And
buttons work again.

Other Functions

This function is needed when display of


exception appears (CHEC., SERV., TEST RUN
One-key Reset

etc.),or when effect of Heat/Cool failed to reach


the expectations after startup.
When the air conditioner is OFF, hold 『 』
for over 5s to reset the remote controller to
factory settings.
At present the wired controller is in usual
interface and all the parameters are reset to
initial settings.

● If installation engineer has perform setting on the air conditioner before installation, please use this function with caution.

7.9 Change indoor unit address

● Indoor unit address (number) can be changed through remote controller.


Attention ● When two remote controls (master/sub) are adopted for controlling, address changing and verification
cannot be performed.
● Address of some indoor units cannot be changed.
● In address verification and address changing modes, please do not operate on central controller.

Verify the indoor unit that changed address; When not Take (1) address verification mode

Common Mode

● Operation and display


(1) Switch to address check
When setting mode, 7-segment display for displaying service function No. shows [05] in a flashing manner, press [Func]
to switch to address check mode.
However, when main-slave wired remote control is adopted, address check mode is not accessbile, and [Function not
available] will display on screen and flash for 5s.

(2) Indoor unit selection


When switched to address check mode, the target
indoor unit will enter the selected state immediately.
After switching, the display will be as below.

(i) [05] shows at the 7-segment display for service function No.
(ii) Display address and refrigerant system of target indoor unit .
When switched to indoor unit selection state, following information will show up immediately: indoor unit with min.
refrigerant system and min. address among the indoor units performing group setting via wired remote control.
In addition, when no indoor unit in group setting via wired remote control, address and refrigerant system will display as
[00].
(iii) 7-segment display for set temp will not display [Set temp], [°C], [QTY].

(3) Indoor unit selection


(i) In the state of indoor unit selection, select target indoor unit as below.

(ii) Press [Run/Stop] to start the selected indoor unit.


In addition, other operation demands other than [Run/Stop] will not be received, and maintain at state of stop.
If switched to address check operation, proceed as below.
(1) During address check operation, [Basic format] will be sent from wired remote control to target indoor unit only.
(2) During address check operation, address does not change when pressing [ ∨ ] or [ ∧ ].

● Exit from mode of address check


(1) In the mode of address check, press [Func]+[ ∧ ] for 5s to switch to common mode. However, it will not exit from
address check mode when pressing [Reset] when in address check mode.
(2) In the mode of address check, commands of OFF and commands of changing of operation mode, set temp, Fan, louver
will be received. However, when these commands cannot be handled when they are in prohibited state.

● Others
(1) In the mode of address check, it will return to common mode when power outage regardless of instantaneous outage or
a long one.
(2) In the mode of address check, commands of OFF and commands of changing of operation mode, set temp, Fan, louver
will be received. However, when these commands cannot be handled when they are in prohibited state.
(3) In the mode of address check, timer cannot be set.
(4) In the mode of address check, temperature will not change when pressing [ ∨ ] or [ ∧ ].
(5) In the mode of address check, when the state or target of ON/OFF, operation mode, set temp, Fan, Louver is changed,
the state remains even when returned to common mode.
