7.3.5 Installation procedure
Check if the following items are available before installation:
remote controller×1 bolt (M4×25mm) ×2 expansion bolt(M3.5×25mm) ×2
manual×1 certificate of quality×1
Attention
● Separate the two parts by inserting and rotating a screwdriver. Pay attention when separation in case of damaging other
parts and the product.
1. Insert into the bottom to separate the controller 2. Pass power source line through trough, and
by a slotted screwdriver with top width 6mm. fix the back cover onto the wall by screws (pay
attention to the arrow direction when installation).
3. Perform wiring work as per manual. 4. Press the controller onto the back cover.

7.6 Operation instruction
Basic Functions
Mode
Only units with Cool and Heat functions for shop/office and VRF with Cool and
Heat functions for building are capable of heating. Those with cooling function
only are not capable of heating.
Switch on.
Preparation
● When connected with total heat exchanger, only air supply mode will display. Please contact the dealer for details.
● When connected with double-source indoor units, FAN and HEAT display. Please contact the dealer for details.
● Wired remote controller will display dry or auto-dry according to the actual condition that whether the connected ducted
type indoor units have equipped with humidity sensor or not.
● For the mode described in Item 1 will be skipped automatically when it is unavailable or the connected unit type does not
support.
● When connected a indoor unit with 3-Level dry, the wired remote controller can display three different levels of dry
operation: standard, C- Dry and S-Dry. Please contact the dealer for details.

The operation indicator light lits up and the

● Once heating operation is stopped, the indoor unit will supply air for around 2 minutes.

● Room temperature can be displayed after special setting on controller. Please contact with the dealer for details.
● Hold 『 』 and 『 』for 3s to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
Humidity
● Auto-Dry mode is valid only when such function is available in the indoor unit. Please contact
the dealer for details.
● When connected a dehumidifier with 3-level Dry, the left lower corner shows target humidity value in Dry mode, and only
temperature value can be adjusted. Please contact with the dealer for details.

Louver
● Options of louver setting may vary along with the types of indoor units. Please refer to the manual of indoor unit for
details.
● When the louver is in operation, location display on LCD may not exactly match with the actual location.
● Sometimes the louver may not stop immediately after pressing the key.

● AUTO can be set only when this function is available in the indoor unit.
Fan
Attention ● Louver will not display when connected with an indoor unit without louver.
● Louver setting when connected with common 4-way cassette type indoor units.

Health
● The icon of Health does not display when connected with an indoor unit without this

● When operation mode is changed, the Health function does not cancel.
● When the unit is OFF, the User can set if Health function will be auto-on or off when starts up by holding『 』for over
5s.

ECO
Attention ● The icon of ECO does not display when connected with an indoor unit without this
function. ECO is not available when air volume or temperature is restricted, and if
ECO function has been set, the function will be canceled automatically by then.
● When setting ECO function by wired remote controller, set air volume and temperature are non-adjustable. Indoor unit
will set air volume and temperature automatically.
● ECO mode is canceled when the air conditioner is switched OFF.
● ECO mode is canceled when the operation mode is changed.

Sleep
Attention ● The icon of Sleep does not display when connected with an indoor unit without this
function. Sleep function invalids when temperature or air volume is restricted.
● When setting to Sleep mode by remote controller, the air volume is at Low, which can be adjusted during Sleep mode.
● Sleep mode is canceled when the air conditioner is switched OFF.
● Sleep mode is canceled when operation mode is changed.
● Sleep mode is canceled when timer power-off is canceled.
● In Sleep mode, timing duration can be adjusted.

Self-cleaning
Attention ● The icon of Self-cleaning does not display when connected with an indoor unit
without this function.
● When setting to Sleep mode by remote controller, the air volume is at Low, which can be adjusted during Sleep mode.
● Sleep mode is canceled when the air conditioner is switched OFF.
● Sleep mode is canceled when operation mode is changed.
● Sleep mode is canceled when timer power-off is canceled.
● In Sleep mode, timing duration can be adjusted.

function. Quiet may be invalid when air volume is restricted.
● When setting to Quiet by remote controller, the air volume is remains at current level and non-adjustable. Indoor unit will
set volume.
● Quiet mode is canceled when the air conditioner is switched OFF.
● Quite mode is canceled when operation mode is changed.

Nature Wind

this function. Nature Wind may be invalid when air volume is restricted.

7.9 Change indoor unit address
Verify the indoor unit that changed address; When not Take (1) address verification mode

(i) [05] shows at the 7-segment display for service function No.
(ii) Display address and refrigerant system of target indoor unit .
When switched to indoor unit selection state, following information will show up immediately: indoor unit with min.
refrigerant system and min. address among the indoor units performing group setting via wired remote control.
In addition, when no indoor unit in group setting via wired remote control, address and refrigerant system will display as
[00].
(iii) 7-segment display for set temp will not display [Set temp], [°C], [QTY].
● Others
(1) In the mode of address check, it will return to common mode when power outage regardless of instantaneous outage or
a long one.
(2) In the mode of address check, commands of OFF and commands of changing of operation mode, set temp, Fan, louver
will be received. However, when these commands cannot be handled when they are in prohibited state.
(3) In the mode of address check, timer cannot be set.
(4) In the mode of address check, temperature will not change when pressing [ ∨ ] or [ ∧ ].
(5) In the mode of address check, when the state or target of ON/OFF, operation mode, set temp, Fan, Louver is changed,
the state remains even when returned to common mode.

7.11 Address initialization
