RULES FOR FOOTBALL

1. Match duration will be 20-5-20 minutes

2. Rolling substitutes are allowed (only from half
line)
3. Yellow card as well as red card may be used by
the referee
4. Referee decision will be final (arguments may
be punishable by yellow or red card)
5. Round 1 will be knockout stage between all
B,C,D,etc. teams of each year. Round 2 will be
league format between A teams of all years plus
winners of round 1
6. All matches in round 1 will be knockouts
7. Extra time will be of 7 mins per half followed
by best of 5 penalties
8. The team cannot add or exchange players that
are not already registered with the team
9. Offside rule is not implemented
10. If the ball touches the treeline, it will be
considered dead and play will resume from a set
piece as required (throw-in, corner, goal-kick)
11. If the ball goes into the opposition net
directly from centre start, goal kick or throw-in
(without touching any other player of either
team), the goal will not stand
12. Injury time may be added on depending on time
wasted, which will be decided by the referee

RULES FOR INFORMAL

FOOTBALL
2 boys and 2 girls [4 a side]

1. Only girls are allowed to score.

2. No goalkeeper. (no use of hands)
3. 2 halves of 7 minutes each. (no injury
time)
4.Throw-ins to be taken grounded (not above
knee height)
5. If the score is a draw at the end of
fulltime, match will be settled by a golden
goal ( for 3 mins), if further no one scores
then penalty shoot-out will be taken. (whole
team)
6. Penalties and Free kicks only to be taken
by girls. (mid-game)
7. Rough play is illegal , Body to body
tackles, high legs and hand balls are
illegal, (especially if a boy on girl foul)
8 .Illegal play leads to a yellow card or
straight red (depending on severity). 2
Yellow cards lead to a Red
9.If a player receives a yellow card - player
goes out for 90 seconds of game time.
10. Decsions by refs call will be final

RULES FOR VOLLEYBALL

Roation system not compulsory

A game will be of 3 sets; 25-25-15 : whoever wins

2 sets shall win the game

Court change after each set, and court change

after a total of 15 points for the third set

Referee's decision will be final

Maximum 1 timeout per set

Games will be knockout format except for matches

between teams A of each batch, which will be
league format

Points will also be given according to

international formats (set difference, point
difference, fouls conceded)

If a team refuses to play after being summoned to

do so ( a bye is given) it is declared in default
and forfeits the match with the result 0-2 for the
match and 0-25 for each set.

Finals will be played for a total of 5 sets, 25-

25-25-25-15, with the winner being who ever wins 3
sets first

RULES FOR CHESS

Toss :
- The team winning the toss gets to strike first
and has to play the white coins .

Striking Rules :
- Striker must touch both the baselines.
- It should cover the end circle completely or not
touching it at all.
- Striker should not touch the diagonal arrow line.
- Use index or middle finger to strike down the
coins .
- Cannot directly strike the coin touching baseline
or below the baseline.
- Cannot directly strike the coin touching diagonal
lines.

Rules to cover Queen :

- After covering the queen , cover one more coin .
- Before covering the queen , must have covered at
least one coin .
- Can cover Queen and coin in one single shot .

Fouls :
- If cover the striker .
- Improper striking rules.
- If striker or coin goes out of board.
- If strike last coin before queen

RULES FOR TABLE

TENNIS

1. Service rules-
-service should bounce of either side of the table
once.
-Service alternates between the players every 2
points. However in case of a deuce service alternates
every point.
-Every service must be conducted with a proper toss of
at least 6 cm. 3 tries for valid service to be given
before awarding a point to the opponent.
-If the service touches the net and falls in the
opponents table, then a re-serve is conducted.
-Screening to block vision of the ball prior to
service isnt allowed.

2. Doubles Rules-
- In doubles every service must be cross table from
right court to right court.
-Both the players of a team must always alternate to
hit the ball.
-All prior rules of a service are applied in doubles.

3. Fouls-
-touching the table with your hand is a foul.
-any servicing fouls are referees call.
-If you hit the ball and it bounces back over the net
after hitting your opponent’s side of the table (due to
extreme spin), without your opponent touching it, that is
your point and not a foul

RULES FOR CRICKET

-Match will be of 12 overs.
-New pattern of runs at the areas of new
construction:
1)On the offside two runs will be given if the ball
crosses the fence. Players will have to run to
score the runs if the fence isn't crossed.
2)On the leg side 2 runs will be deducted from the
boundaries as in 2 runs for Fours and 4 runs for
sixes.
-Powerplay will be of 3 overs(2 players out the 30
yard). 2nd powerplay(1 over)can be taken by the
batting team during the last 3 overs.
-Maximum 4 players will allowed out of 30 yards
circle at any point of game
-Maximum 5 players are allowed to field at one side
of the pitch.
-Bowl pitched out the pitch will be considered a
dead ball.
-fielder moving during a delivery will be
considered as a dead ball
-For a throw bowl(improper action) first warning
will be given by the umpire and then he will not be
able to bowl further in the on going match
-Free hit will be given for every no ball and the

-Runners will not be allowed except for severe

opposite team and the umpire on field)
-Sledging during the delivery of the ball will
be given a warning at first and then penalty

RULES FOR DODGEBALL

-The offending team that beats all the 6 defending players

in less time shall gain victory.
OR
-Maximum time of each round-12 mins
-The offending team which gets more players of the defending
team in 12mins shall gain victory
-In case of a Tie ( equal players captures in 12 mins), two
TIE-BREAKER bouts will be played.

PENALTIES AND DISQUALIFICATIONS

- If a defender crosses the ring:

1st time- warning
2nd time- time deduction- 30 seconds

- If an offender deliberately aims at the. face of defender

1st time- warning
2nd time- 60 seconds

- If a player delibrately holds/grabs or pushes the opponent

player in order to change his/her position or orientation -
time based penalty: 30 seconds

IN CASE OF ANY DISCREPANCY REGARDING GAMEPLAY AND RULES, THE

FINAL DECISION WILL BE MADE BY THE COMMITTEE AND THE PLAYERS
ARE REQUESTED TO CO-OPERATE.

RULES FOR SATODIU

There will be 3 rounds and each round will be of 3

minutes
Toss winner will decide whether they want to
attack or defend
4 attackers from the attacking side will stand in
line to throw the tennis ball in the centre .
Remaining 2 players will stand in the opposite
side for support
If the ball hits the seven stones, they have to
avoid being hit by the ball from defending side.
Each defender has to try to hit 1 member of the
opposite side before they complete arranging the
seven stones
Ball cannot be thrown by defending side while in
the danger line. So they have to pass to their
teammmate who is standing outside the danger line
Points can be won by either arranging the seven
stones before any one teammate attacker gets hit
or hitting any one attacker from opposite side
before they arrange the seven stones
Team with most points at the end of 3 rounds will
be declared winners
