Biblical Proverbs 2 :

The heart of man proposes his path; but the Lord


directs his steps.

The prudent servant will rule over the son who


acts unworthily; and among the brothers he will
receive from the inheritance.

A false balance is an abomination to the Lord; but


fair weight is your pleasure.

The crucible is for silver, and the furnace for gold;


but the Lord is the one who tests the hearts.

When pride comes, then comes dishonor; but with


the humble is wisdom.

Mischief pays attention to the wicked lip; the liar


inclines his ear to the evil tongue.

All the ways of man are clean in his eyes; but the
Lord weighs the spirits.

The glory of God is to cover things up; but the


glory of kings is to search them out.
Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans
will be established.

As the sky is in its height, and as the earth is in its


depth, so the hearts of kings
it is inscrutable.

The Lord made everything for an end; yea, even


the wicked for the evil day.

Remove the dross from the silver, and a vessel


will come out for the smelter.

Every arrogant man is an abomination to the


Lord; It certainly won't go unpunished.

Remove the wicked from the presence of the


King, and his throne will be established in
righteousness.

By mercy and truth iniquity is atoned for; and


through the fear of the Lord men turn away from
evil.
Do not claim honor for yourself in the presence of
the king, nor put yourself in the place of great
ones; for it is better if they say to you: Come up
here; than to be humiliated before the prince.

When a man's ways please the Lord, he makes


even his enemies at peace with him.

What your eyes have seen, do not rush to reveal,


so that later, at the end, you will not know what
you are going to do, which could confuse your
neighbor.

Better is a little with justice, than great income


with injustice.

The integrity of the upright guides them; but the


wickedness of the disloyal destroys them.
He who mocks the poor insults his creator; he
who rejoices in calamity will not go unpunished.

Riches are of no use in the day of wrath; but


righteousness delivers from death.
