OBJECTIVES:
To help students understand and identify local and state laws and regulations
regarding the environment.
MATERIALS NEEDED:
●Bond paper
●Ballpen / Pencils
●Local and State Environmental laws and regulations (Guide Questions)

MOTIVATION:
“Roll the Dice”

INTRODUCTION (10 minutes)


●Start by discussing the importance of environmental laws and regulations in
protecting our planet.
●Explain the difference between local (city or town) and state laws and how they
impact the environment.

ACTIVITY (10 minutes)


●Divide students into 4 groups.
●Provide them with resources (answer sheet) and give the topic for them to
explain by spinning the (roulette)

DISCUSSION (5 minutes)

●Have each group present their Answer to the class.

REFLECTION (5 minutes)

●Summarize the key points discussed during the activity.
●Emphasize the role of individuals in following and supporting environmental
laws for a sustainable future.
