ABSTRACT

This monograph explores some of the architectural wonders of ancient


Greece and Rome, highlighting their enduring impact on civilization. The
aim is to analyze and compare the distinctive features of each civilization's
marvels, using a combination of historical research, architectural
analysis, and cultural interpretation. The methodology involves a review of
primary sources, including ancient texts, archaeological remains and web
pages, to identify characteristics and implications of the society of these
wonders. By analizyng this data, the study shows how these civilizations
manifested their values and aspirations through monumental structures.

The results reveal profound insights into the artistic and engineering
prowess of both civilizations, showcasing how they employed innovative
techniques and ideologies to create enduring symbols of power and
culture. In this study, it can be seen that Greece was known for beautiful
architecture, while Rome was admired for its impressive. This paper
highlights the legacy of ancient Greece and Rome, showing how they
greatly influenced later architectural and cultural trends.
