grown my account into the hundreds of thousands of followers and I make $1,000s a month. I want

You need a minimum of 3-6 months to see consistent results, but I promise you, you will get results.

PILLAR 1 – YOUR NICHE

Wow so here we are getting into the nitty gritty.

What is your X account going to be about? What

is going to be your “niche”

Now it may sound like a fancy marketing term and indeed it probably is.

However, before you do anything, you need to decide your niche and what you are going to be about.

There are literally hundreds of niches you can choose from.

It is great because you may have a specialist subject you know a lot about.

What is awesome is there will be people out there that want to know what you know.

Which presents an opportunity.

An opportunity to make money, a side hustle and give value to the world.

Now you may not want to make money/a side hustle out of X which is fine. It may

be that you just want to convey a message and help others which is great.

But you must decide on your niche and you should not have multiple conflicting niche’s.

Now mine is Mind, Wisdom, and Money

Hey hold up……this is more than one niche!

Well technically yes…. but to me everything stems from your mind.

Your money habits stem from your mind and how you think. Your wisdom dictates how you spend money and
how you think.

This is why I tie them altogether.

They do not “conflict” with each other.

I will be honest.

Originally, I wanted to be a pure money and investment account.

However, I noticed I talked a lot about the mind and psychology, specifically money psychology.

It blended quite well together.

Also, Mindset is a huge niche which extends my reach to most people in one way or another,

The same applies with money.

Everyone, however much they may argue against it has to deal and manage their money each day.

Well, that is great so why are you telling me this?

The reason I am telling you this is your journey can evolve.

Getting it right off the bat is the BEST scenario however you will learn what works and what you find most
interesting.

My niche evolved but did not fundamentally change.

You can change your niche but do not forget people started following you for information you provided on
that niche not your new one.

You may lose followers if you change it up completely.

Now what niches can you choose?

The list goes on and on. Literally everything you can think of.

There are niches within niches such as quotes.

You can literally be purely an account based on one philosopher/writer.

It is up to you.

One note of caution if you go too deep into one obscure niche.

Let us say you want to go into dogs that ride on skateboards.

Now this is a very specific niche that will not appeal to the masses.

How about you change it to a niche on dogs instead?

You can still post about dogs on skateboards but also everything else in-between.

Ahh that opens your audience up.

What I am saying is - just be mindful of the niche you choose, do not go too niche so that there is not an
audience to help you grow.

Choosing your niche is one of THE most important parts of your X journey. A

business decides what industry to work in, what to do and what to sell.

Your niche is the equivalent for your account.

PILLAR 2 -BRAND

Now your brand is an extension of your niche.

Once you have chosen your niche you then need to come up with a brand.

I cannot stress this enough.

You will not gain followers, grow your account, and ultimately make another income stream with a terrible
profile picture, handle, bio, and banner.

This is your brand.

This is your message to the world.

This is your everything.

The least important part of this is your banner but the others are non-negotiable.

I reiterate non-negotiable.

Why? because of what I said above.

You are here to grow; you are here to make another income stream and you are here to make a difference.

There are millions of X accounts.

However not many of them create, and not many have over 15k followers. Even if it seems like it.

You are most likely in a similar type of community as I am, there are several big accounts, but look around you
how many are there really?

These millions of X accounts are mostly herd followers or keyboard warriors.

They see a big account, they see they get great engagement, their content is good but not necessarily great,
however social proofing is everything.

So, what happens? They get followers.

If loads of other people follow the account, I better follow them too! That is the mentality of the masses.

The fact you are reading this means you are not one of them.

You are already going against the herd to create a better life for yourself and others.

Therefore, due to this mentality, the beginning is hard.

You do not have that big following; you do not have crazy engagement so your reach is limited.

Now I am not saying you cannot change any part of your brand later, but if you get this right or thereabouts at
the beginning, your growth will accelerate so much faster.

Did I get it wrong to start with?

Hell yes!

Is it perfect now?

No, but I have had great feedback from others.

I have even had my profile picture screenshotted and used by other accounts who then comment on my
tweets!

I take that as a sign of progress!

The key takeaway which you will hear me say in this guide is do not devalue your brand.

PILLAR 3A – PROFILE PICTURE

Now a lot of people start as I did with a picture of yourself.

Mine was an edited picture of my face in black and white.

I felt at the time this would put a face to my name and help me build a believable brand.

Sounds perfect right?

Wrong!

Now this may be controversial, but for 90% of accounts this is not the best way to go.

Why?

Because anonymous accounts with pictures of something related to your niche are far better placed to grow.

A picture of your face does not tell anyone immediately what you are about.

There are millions of faces on X and unless you are famous, no one cares. You

have seconds to make an impact.

Unless you are a chiseled god or goddess carved perfectly from the heavens your face is not going to help
you.

However good looking you think you are!

I have grown massively since I changed over to an anonymous account.

I was given this advice by accounts with well over 100k followers.

I would strongly advise you to do the same except in certain circumstances.

If you are a writer, you are the brand, if you are in sales and are trying to attract high value clients you are the
brand, if you are a model, you are the brand.

See where I am going here?

What is more, being anonymous gives a sense a mystery about the person behind the account.

If you produce great content and have huge amounts of followers you will give an air of power and even a
god/goddess like status that will only help you on your path to 50k and beyond if you are anonymous.

I urge you to do it, I found it hard to change at first and I thought nah my face is the way forward, but in truth
it held me back.

Unless your face HAS to be the brand go anonymous.

PILLAR 3B - HANDLE “@”

You are @ also known as your “handle” is another key component of creating a successful profile.

Why isn’t my actual name a good idea? I hear you say!

I see SO many people use their handles as their name.

No one “again” gives a flying monkey what your name is ESPECIALLY in your handle.

Why?

Take it this way let us say you are searching through X for names. Maybe you want to find accounts on mindset
as that is your niche.

Let us use your name as an example. Your handle is “@john smith” how is anyone going to know you are
about Mindset?

The answer is of course no one.

So why if you are about mindset are you going to use the handle @johnsmith?

If people search for mindset, they are not going to instantly see your name handle and think pooh that is an
account about mindset.

Make sense?

Glad we got that out the way.

Match your niche to your handle.

Even if you are a writer and want to use your name as part of the brand. DO not use it as the handle. Choose
something such as @novelwriter…

Immediately others will see your handle and know you must be about novels and writing - see where we are
going here?

Link your brand and your niche all together it makes it much simpler for users to know what you are about
and you will massively increase your chances of getting followers.

PILLAR 3C - NAME

The name part of your profile (within edit profile labelled name) also needs to link to your brand.

What goes in here is what your account name is.

Simple right?

Mine is MindWisdomMoney. Pretty obvious what I am about right?

If you persist with wanting your actual name in your profile somewhere this is where to do it. Not in you @
handle or in your bio.

Again, if you are going down the anonymous route which for most of you should your actual name will not go
in here.

Even better is to sync your handle and your name together as I have done…. repeating the brand and
reinforcing what you are about is key here.

PILLAR 3D -BIO

Your Bio is also extremely important and yet SO many people get this wrong.

Myself included.

I am a financial controller by day and a qualified accountant. I thought if I put this in my bio it will help
“solidify” the money part of my account.

Maybe it did as people will instantly know this guy has legitimate knowledge.

However, no one I repeat NO ONE gives a damn what you do.

Do not put it in your bio.

What people want to know is, what YOU will do for them.

Not what job you have, not what sports team you support, not what you had for dinner last night.

Think about it.

Why do you follow the accounts you do?

Besides networking and making friends you follow other accounts because of what you can learn from them.

Now there are a few exceptions.

If you are in sales and sell to high value clients you can put this in your bio to some extent but…. make sure
you stress what you will do for your followers.

Not just I am the best salesman in the world and can sell ice to a skimo.

Again, saying something as egotistical as this will devalue your brand.

Say for example my account was instead about attracting clients who need financial or accountancy advice.

THIS is the only time it would make sense to include my credentials. But otherwise, do not do it.

A side note please, please PLEASE do not fill it with hashtags or links too it looks cheap and spammy and
guess what? Devalues your brand.

You now have an awesome handle; you have a great profile picture that matches your niche and then you
have a few more seconds to sell your account with your bio.

DO NOT underestimate the power of your bio.

Keep it short, to the point and succinct.

Your bio is only read for a few seconds at most.

Give it the attention it deserves.

Again, this can evolve in time as mine has, but I got it wrong at the start and who knows I could have far more
followers if I had got it right or better from the start.

PILLAR 3D - BANNER

Now the banner is the least important part of your whole persona in my opinion, nevertheless it can be the
“icing” on the cake of your profile.

If it looks good, slick, and professional again it will increase your chances of getting more followers.

You have chosen your account name/handle as discussed above.

It makes a lot of sense to include it somewhere in the banner too as I have, to really tie up your brand.

Some useful tools to make your banner is Canva (for the actual banner) and Unsplash images (for the banner
image) both can be used for free although there are paid options.

I used both to create my current and prior banners. The banner size is 1500px by 500px. Canva does make it
easy to make it out to be this size.

Make sure your banner again reiterates what your brand/account is about in some way or another.

Mine represents a boat, the sky and space which to me transmits an image of a journey.

My account is there to help others with their mind, money and wisdom which is an important part of the
journey of life.

The main thing is it ties in with my account and niche.

You must do the same for your account, if its money related evoke images of money, if its philosophy makes it
about famous philosophers, books, research etc.

Unsplash images is again a great free resource for images to use.

It is very simple and you can search the type of images you want.

So simply search for images within your niche and then see where you end up.

I put a lot of hours into my current design.

It took me a while to come up with it and find the right image, but boy was it worth it.

Like I say initially this is not the most important part of your X brand and can be amended later, however if you
have the time, you will not regret spending it wisely on making your banner sexy.

PILLAR 3E - PINNED TWEET

Your pinned tweet is another “icing” on the cake.

What you want is a killer tweet/thread, either one that portrays an awesome message or one that has had
crazy engagement.

Now at the beginning you will not necessarily have a high engagement tweet/thread.

If this is you, do not fret just make sure your pinned tweet is a good one and ties in with your brand and niche.

This is the first thing after seeing your profile picture, bio, handle, and banner that potential followers will
see.

This in a way markets what you are about, what you tweet.

If you have a product which you believe will change people’s lives for the better, a meditation routine, a way
to make more sales etc pin this here.

We are about creating and giving value to others.

Like I mentioned earlier you are now a creator even when you start with no followers.

I never thought I could tweet or create anything people wanted and yet here I am creating this growth guide.

I have also created a wealth building guide and a free eBook on ways to make saving more fun with some
different techniques.

I also tweet my ideas and thoughts. Again creating.

If I can do it so, can you!

PILLAR 4 - NETWORK

You never get to the top on your own.

A great quote that holds true on X too.

The network of friends you build is vital to your success on X.

I would not be where I am without some important people who I consider great friends now.

Once you have chosen your niche, you can then find other creators, maybe ones who are a similar following
to you.

If their content resonates with you, drop them a message, introduce yourself and ask to share RTs.

Some may say no, if they do, they are not your people. However, most people are in the same position as you.

Grow a network of strong liked minded people of around 5-15 people.

Share ideas, share thoughts, share progress, and share your journey.

Now if you have 500 followers do not expect a massive account to just become your best friend.

It may happen, but you are more likely to forge friends with those who are in a similar place.

You could grow with a few great friends to massive accounts and then you have a X power network. Do

not underestimate the power of our network, it will do wonders for your journey.

Get networking and get growing.
