G-XTREME, GX-7 and Traditional Protective System designs are also available for applications where
proximity environments may be encountered. These systems are compliant with NFPA 1976, Standard
on Protective Ensemble for Proximity Fire Fighting, 2000 Edition. For aircraft rescue and firefighting
applications, Globe offers ARFF Boeing and the ARFF INDEX-E protective clothing systems meeting
the requirements of NFPA with additional design and feature benefits specific to ARFF.

It begins with a 33% Pbi ® /67% KEVLAR ® knitted blend with an aluminized surface. The finished
protective system is substantially lighter, more supple and more flexible than other Proximity suits
available today. Globe Proximity garments, like all Globe turnouts, come with over 70 standard (no
charge) features and your choice of Moisture Barriers and Thermal Liners. Virtually all Globe options
can be specified for a complete custom-equipped system protecting against intense reflective and
